Design process for the Microsoft.com marketing website
In addition to leading the product design of Bing for Commerce, I was asked to design a marketing website for Microsoft.com.
The process was very rapid—I received the initial content spec from the PM team and worked iteratively to develop wireframes using Microsoft Web Framework (MWF) design system to explore approaches for content placement. I then refined the copy to improve the UX and improve the alignment with MWF patterns.
After the copy was finalized, I created high-fidelity visual mocks with refined details and created graphical content to enhance the product messaging. Lastly, I finalized the production details—including responsive scaling across mobile through large desktop sizes, and optimized media for implementation.
I began by mapping the content structure to MWF components. This is the final iteration of that process.
Last, I created responsive mocks for mobile through desktop to provide optimal content presentation.
